Cranston to Introduce New BSA® Fabrics

Cranston to Introduce New BSA® Fabrics

Jodi Beckett, Executive Vice President, (left), Janet Andersen, Design Director, (right) Quilting Treasures | Cranston

Cranston designs and markets their fabric by the yard to the home quilter, sewer, and crafter. "Our customer is highly creative and is inspired by beautifully designed fabrics. Sewing and quilting is an art!" explained Jodi Beckett, Executive Vice President.

Beckett commented, "In our business, trends in colors, design, and home décor are important. To be successful, we must translate designs and images, such as BSA®, and create meaningful, beautiful fabric collections. The fabric must capture the essence of the brand as well as incorporate the colors and scale that are relevant to today's customer."

The Boy Scout fabric is marketed under their premium quilting brand, Quilting Treasures, which is sold to independent quilt shops throughout the country.

"The BSA license is such a fun and recognizable brand and because our customers love to create things for others, it's been an ideal license for us," stated Beckett.

Many of the quilts that the customers make are given as gifts or donated to charity to raise awareness to causes or to bring comfort to those in need.

Cranston just launched the newest BSA fabric line focusing on one of the main values of a Boy Scout -- A Boy Scout is Patriotic. This is a fresh look for BSA fabric using traditional red, white, and blue colors with hints of gray and yellow. The fabric collection will ship September 2012 and be available at QuiltingTreasures.com. Call Toll Free: 800.876.2756
