Scouts Can Invite Friends Electronically

A new feature called the e-card is available to Scouts and leaders on the www.thescoutzone.org Web site. This fun and easy activity will help a Scout complete the new First Class requirement that states he must invite a friend to a troop meeting or activity. Please share this at roundtables and in newsletters.

Step 1: Go to www.thescoutzone.org.

Step 2: Click on "Tell a Friend."

Step 3: Enter your name and your friend's name and e-mail address in the boxes.

Step 4: Select images of activities you think would be fun and interesting for your friend to do.

Step 5: Chose the music and the message you would like to send.

Step 6: Preview your e-card and send it to your friend.
