Job Overview:
The Boy Scouts of America is seeking a dynamic, innovative, and motivated professional with a proven track record of success for a Marketing Specialist position in our Marketing/Brand Department at our National Office in Irving, Texas.
As a key member of a fast-paced department, you will develop and implement marketing activities and programs and manage strategies for products and services with emphasis on digital initiatives, including web sites and other interactive marketing tools. In addition, you will work with internal and external clients in the design and implementation of marketing and promotional programs and advise management on developing strategies and market considerations that meet the BSA’s core business objectives.
The individual in this position will:
- Work closely with others to develop and execute strategic marketing solutions that achieve maximum exposure and adoption of national programs.
- Provide leadership to web based and interactive marketing and communications efforts working closely with internal and external agencies and internal stake holders.
- Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external clients in working to develop and utilize marketing channels that reach and engage internal and external target audiences.
- Work with the Marketing Group and internal groups, to execute an integrated communications that are strategic, consistent, prioritized and effective.
- Ensure a high level of consistency of brand positioning and messaging across multiple brands.
Qualifications/ Experience: The qualified candidate must have:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university is required; Masters degree preferred
- Eight + years job related experience
- Five years experience in marketing delivering creative business strategies, and brand growth
